MONTHLY CHALLENGE OVERVIEW
This monthly challenge is to provide members of the
STEAM CUP community an opportunity to design practical robot applications. This is in the hope of inspiring the next generation of robot enthusiasts.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Those who wish to participate, will need to complete the following steps:

Create: Participants will need to plan, build, and test their creations with the resources that they posses.

Record: When the project is ready, participants will need to make a simple Mini Movie(based on the evaluation criteria).

Post: Finished Mini Movies will need to be posted onto the participant's personal YouTube account.

Submit: After completing all the previous steps, participants will then need to submit their project to STEAM CUP USA. There is no limit as to how many submissions one can make each month as-long-as each submission is noticeably different from the previous projects.

Teams may consist of up to three members per team. All names must be listed with your submission.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Participants are judged based on the following categories:

Robot Design

Presentation

Mechanization

Creativity
Mini Movie Production

Video Content

Creator’s name(s), grade level(s), location

Creation’s name

Creation’s purpose & key components
-
Demonstrate creation

Length (two minutes maximum)

Utilization of Props, Scenery, Light and Sound Effects, Music, and Costumes (Optional)
COMPETITION DEALINES
Submission will be accepted from the 1st until the last day of each month and the winners will be announced on the 2nd week as well.
Awards
Winners will be sent an award as well those who are honorably mentioned. Awards will be sent to recipients the week after the winners are announced.
